Apple Reveals Date for WWDC 2015

One of the most expected events of the year for Apple fans and developers is the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The famous company revealed that the WWDC 2015 will be held between June 8 and June 12, at San Francisco's Moscone Convention Center.

Of course, the official announcement on the WWDC does not offer too much information on what Apple plans on releasing next, but it can definitely help analysts get a clearer view on the company's newest projects. This year, Apple is expected to focus on the release of iOS 9, although there are some rumors indicating that the famous company will jump directly to iOS 10, and OS X 11.

Analysts seem to believe that the connection between OS X 11 and iOS 9 will be even stronger this year. This means that the two platforms are expected to be even more alike, compared to previous releases.

Well, it is yet to discover what the famous company has prepared for the event that promises to host 100 technical sessions and 1,000 Apple engineers. For developers attending the event, one of the most expected moments is Apple's Digital Design Awards, which is an event that recognizes the best in app development on all Apple's platforms. The contest will also include apps for the Apple Watch, which will be officially released on April 24. The device was unveiled by the famous company at an event back in 2014.

Last week, the Apple Watch became available for pre-orders and it seems that the product is already a success.

However, the Apple Watch is not the only product launched until now by Apple in 2015. The famous company has also unveiled a new slim 12-inch MacBook, which looks absolutely spectacular.

"We've got incredible new technologies for iOS and OS X to share with developers at WWDC and around the world, and can't wait to see the next generation of apps they create," Philip Schiller, the senior vice president of worldwide marketing for Apple said in a press release.
