Apple Reveals 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display

As it has been rumored for quite some time now, Apple has released its impressive 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display.

The redesigned device was highly expected by all fans of Apple products and it seems that despite the high expectations, Apple has managed to impress with a great new product. The MacBook Pro is the number one selling Mac in Apple’s lineup, as Phil Schiller claimed.

Naturally, Apple expects the redesigned MacBook Pro with Retina display to be very well received by the fans and consequently to become a great success, too.

According to Apple, the 13-inch MacBook Pro comes with the highest resolution of all models released by competitors, even at larger screens.

What Apple wanted was to completely reinvent this device adding a new thin and light design to its MacBook Pro. However, Apple went even further and added retina display to its latest release, along with fast flash storage.

Still, Phil Shiller, Apple’s executive, claimed that what completely changes and redesigns this device is the Retina display, which adds more to the MacBook Pro than what users might have imagined at first. In terms of usability, the new MacBook is even lighter than its predecessor, the previous 13-inch model, weighting about one pound less.

It has more than 4 times as many pixels as its predecessor, but it also uses IPS technology for 178-degree-wide viewing angle. A FaceTime HD camera, dual microphones, but also a backlit keyboard, are other features of the new device.

The new MacBook Pro comes with glass multi-touch trackpad, but also with dual Thunderbolt ports and USB 3. Phil Shiller claimed that the new MacBook has actually been redesigned by Apple from scratch, adding asymmetric battery technology, but also Intel Core i5 or i7 Ivy Bridge processors.

Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics are also featured by this impressive new device. Apple claims that its new MacBook Pro comes with 8GB of RAM and a battery life that can power the device up to 7 hours.

The new Apple product starts at the price of $1,699 and can be purchased from the Apple Online Store, as well as from authorized resellers.
