The new Samsung Level U offers an improved performance

Samsung has decided to improve its collar-style neckband wireless Bluetooth headphones with some new features and better performance. Even if LG is considered to be the sales leader on this segment of the market, Samsung’s wireless Bluetooth headphones also offer a comfortable fit and good quality sound.

The new Samsung Level U is available at the price of 100 dollars, which is not very expensive. This new model is a noise-isolating headphone, which means that users will be able to jam the tips into their years and seal out the outside world.

Samsung Level U wireless Bluetooth headphones High Quality
This is the first new feature that is different compared with the previous model. To be added that the more affordable Level U model comes with buds that sit loosely in users’ ears. As many other Bluetooth headphones, the new Samsung Level U also connects wirelessly with people’s smartphone or other devices, and can be used for taking calls, but also for enjoying music.

Customers should know that there are also a set of buttons situated on the right side of the neck band that will allow them to play and pause their music, skip tracks forward and back, raise and lower the volume and answer/end calls.

This is a good feature and becomes very useful, especially if they use the headphones while running. These buttons situated on the right side of the headphones are well placed and easy enough to operate.

Compared with LG Tone headphones, Samsung’s earbuds are magnetic and clasp together to become more comfortable and reduce clutter when not in use. On the other hand, LG has a retract system, meaning that when the earbuds are not in use, they will retract back into the neck band.

We don’t know which system is better, but Samsung’s neck band is so lightweight that sometimes customers will probably forgot to clasp them together and leave them dangling on their chest.

Users who already have a Samsung phone will be happy to know that Samsung Level U also supports UHQ Audio standard, meaning that it will provide Ultra-High Quality Audio over Bluetooth.

Moreover, people who have an Android phone will be able to download the free Level App to control the advanced settings of the headphone, which also includes the ability for the headphones to read text notifications for them.

Another interesting feature that this headphone has is the water-resistant feature and that the battery life is rater up to 9 hours of music playback at moderate volume levels. Yes, it is pretty amazing to have 9 hours of continuous music.

As for performance, the new Samsung Level U sounds good for its price range. Moreover, it offer good clarity and an accurate bass.

However, for a 100 dollars Bluetooth headphone, the sound cannot be as incredible as at high-end headphones. In the end, Samsung’s new Level U is well designed, comfortable to wear, lightweight and the sound performance is decent.

Maybe, Samsung is going to consider reducing the price at 75 dollars, so this model can become a good attraction on a market that is dominated by LG Tone.
