Dell has released the new XPS 13 Notebook

The XPS 13 line is famous due to its sleek design and impressive performances. With this line, Dell has managed to win the ultra-portables market.

As we know, the company has updated the XPS 13 in 2015, adding an impressive screen that people thought it had no bezels. Its amazing 13-inch screen nearly filled the entire laptop lid, offering more room to work.

Moreover, the XPS 13 2015 model stood up with a small body that measured approximately 11.6-inches. After this model was released, other famous manufacturers have started to unveiled their similar models. (Full specs review on Tech Radar)

For example, Lenovo also adopted this near edge-to-edge screen design, but Dell’s model remained a favorite for customers due to the specs on the package hidden under the chassis.

The Dell XPS 13 keeps everything that was great about the previous model -- including its near edge-to-edge-display and fantastic keyboard -- and adds the latest Intel Kaby Lake processors and Thunderbolt 3.( Image Credits

But, these days, Dell is coming with a new version. This current version includes the latest Intel seventh-generation processor, which is also known under the name of Kaby Lake, and a Thunderbolt 3 port.

So, this means, that with the help of an adapter or dock, people will be able to run a single cable from the laptop to handle power, Ethernet, audio and video.

Another great thing about the new Dell XPS 13 Notebook is that it is also available in silver, but for an additional 50 dollars, people will be able to purchase it in gold. As the company has declared, the pricing starts at 800 dollars.

But for the starting price, customers will receive a nice 1.920 x 1.080-pixel resolution display, but without a touchscreen feature. So, customers who will want more than that will have to go for the full premium experience.

This means that when paying more, customers will receive an incredible HD 3.200 x 1.800-pixel resolution touchscreen. But, we must also say that there are people who don’t see the purpose or value of a touchscreen laptop and will stick to the base model.

The new Dell XPS 13 Notebook is perfect for working in tight spaces, for example trains, planes or buses. So, when having a touchscreen feature, people will not be forced to use only the touchpad to do their work.

With a feature like this, people will have no problem to quickly scroll, tap and swipe around the screen.

So, at the price of 1.900 dollars, people will receive an amazing 13-inch 3.200 x 1.800 touchscreen display, 2.7GHz Intel Core i7-7500U, accompanied by 16GB of SDRAM, and a 128MB dedicated Intel HD Graphics 620.

Moreover, this configuration also comes with 512GB SSD, Windows 10 Home, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1.

In the end, we must mention that there is a built-in webcam, but due to the screen’s spanning design, Dell was forced to add it down in the lower corner below the screen. The result is not so great, especially when people are typing.

Another great thing is the battery life, which is considered one of the best out there on the market. The Dell XPS 13 Notebook line remains a fantastic ultraportable laptop.
