Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger Setup Is Made For Real Gamers

Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger headphones are available for sale
People will be able to find some interesting gaming headsets at right about any price.

For example, the new Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger is available at the price of 49.99 dollars.

This new model is a wired gaming headset that feels comfortable and offers some decent good audio performance and a very good microphone quality.

So, why spending hundreds of dollars on a high-end gaming headset, if you can spend 50 dollars?

Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger - the ideal headset for gamers
Official Website:

This is an irrelevant conclusion, because those high-end gaming headsets offer many more good quality features and are made from premium materials, while the new Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger comes with decent specs and acceptable build quality.

But, we are happy to see that there are some low cost gaming headsets for gamers who don’t want to spend a fortune on a pair of headphones.

We should also mention that customers will be able to spend a little bit more for slightly better-sound headsets, but people who are on a strict budget should know that the new Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger is an excellent choice.

So, at the price of 49.99 dollars, people will receive a plain headset with an all-black, all-plastic design that fits in line with its price tag. However, we must say that this new model doesn’t feel cheap at all, which is a very good thing.

Moreover, people who are very interested in what they are buying and look a little bit closer, will probably see that this model seems particularly rugged in its construction.

The new Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger comes with synthetic leather over-ear earpads and a headband padding, which are soft and comfortable.

But, unfortunately, these are not quite as thick as the earpads found on the Razer Kraken Pro V2. Moreover, the design is not as premium as the one found on the Turtle Beach Eite Pro Tournament Headset, which is available at the price of 199 dollars.

Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger Features:

  • Lightweight headset with 90-degree rotating ear cups
  • 50mm directional drivers for audio precision
  • HyperX signature memory foam
  • Adjustable steel slider
  • Intuitive volume control on headset ear cup
  • Swivel-to-mute noise-cancellation microphone
  • Multi-platform compatibility

The only color that people will see on the new Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger is the painted HyperX logos situated on the outside of each earcup.

To be added that both the boom microphone and headset cable are permanently attached to the left earcup. The mic is attached on a flexible rubber boom arm that has the ability to flip down 90 degrees in only one direction.

This means that people will not be able to swap sides by turning the headset around. Another interesting thing to know is that the headset cable measures four feet long and ends in a single four-pole 3.5mm plug. This plug will work with all modern game consoles, along with most laptops and mobile devices.

Into the box, people will also find a five-foot extension cable that splits into two three-pole 3.5mm plugs.

This cable is useful when people will want to use the headphone with computers and notebooks that feature separate headphones and microphone inputs.

Unfortunately, there is no inline remote or microphone mute button attached on the cord. But, people should know that the mic automatically mutes when they flip it up.
