Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 A Multi Talented Tablet

Wacom is coming with a new pro tablet that has a high number of features. We are taking about the MobileStudio.
As we know, Microsoft also has something similar, which is called the Surface Pro 4.

But, Microsoft’s device is a good general-purpose Windows 10 hybrid, while on the other side, the new Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 is a more flexible mobile computer.

This new device is able to take this tablet category to the max with essentially sophisticated capabilities for professionals.

For example, the new Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 has the power to offer 8.192 levels of pressure sensitivity using the new Pro Pen 2, which is considered to be the best in the industry.

The 4K resolution (3840x2160) of Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16’s screen renders each fine brush stroke perfectly and provides plenty of space in which to work

The tablet has an exceptionally good feel and pressure-sensitivity capability, plus it can serve multiple functions depending on your needs.

Moreover, this new pro tablet has application-specific programmable hard controls for streamlining operation without a keyboard. Why? Because, the pro content creation is a two-handed job.

Another great thing is that Wacom’s new tablet offers the possibility for users to connect a Bluetooth keyboard to turn it into a Windows 10 laptop.

Customers need to know that this new model evolved from the previous Cintiq line. This means that they can connect the tablet to a system and use it as an interactive pen display and graphics leader.

This is also a not so cheap way to transform any laptop, including a Mac, into a touchscreen device. However, we must add that the new Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 is not the company’s first pen computer.

The company added other devices like this during the Windows 7 and Windows 8 era, but those models simply weren’t pen or touch friendly.

So, thanks to the new Windows 10-tide-lifts-all-boats environment, Wacom managed to create a table that has a good software support to make a truly useful product. But, we are all curious to find out how much does this new tablet cost.

So, the Wacom MobileStudio Pro 13 starts at the price of 1.500 dollars, offering a Core i5 model, accompanied by 64GB SSD. There are many other more expensive products.

For example, at the price of 2.500 dollars, customers will be able to buy a Core i7 tablet, with a 512GB SSD. The Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 is available at the price of 3.000 dollars, and homes a Core i7 and 512GB SSD.

It is important to know that all the 13-inches models come with the same integrated Intel Iris Graphics 550 GPU driving a WQHD (2.560 x 1.440-pixel resolution) screen.

On the other side, the bigger models, more specifically the 16-inch tablets, come with an Nvidia Quadro workstation-class GPUs, offering 4K UHD (3.840 x 2.160) displays.

We also must say that all 16-inch models incorporate Intel RealSense R200 3D cameras. As for weight, the 13-inch models come with a reasonably light 2.9 pounds, while the 16-inch version weighs 5 pounds.

In the end, we must say that in order to take advantage of this incredible tablet as a pen tablet/touch display, customers will have to pay a premium price of 70 dollars for the Wacom Link adapter.
