Garmin Dash Cam 55 tiny quality camera Compact and discreet

This company has just released a new dashcam, which is named the Dash Cam 55. This new camera has some interesting new features, which will be very useful for drivers.

Let’s see if this new dashcamera will be able to stand out and compete with other cameras on the market.

To be mentioned that Garmin is not the only company that makes this type of dashcam. No, the dashcamera market is filled with interesting and new devices.

So, let’s start with the design. Like the previous 45 model, we must say that the new 55 dashcamera shares the same compact and slim design. But, the new model comes with a bronze ring wrapped around the lens.

As we know, the previous model had a silver ring. Moreover, the company also added a new resolution, which goes up from 1080p to 1440p.

Another good thing is that the new Garmin Dash Cam 55 comes with voice control capabilities.

This means that drivers will be able to tweak their controls by just talking with the dashcam. Customers will be able to buy the new Garmin Dash Cam 55 at the price of 200 dollars. As we know, the previous model was available at the price of 150 dollars.

In the package, customers will find the new camera, accompanied by a USB cable, a 13.5 power cable, two magnetic mounts, and an 8GB MicroSD card.

Garmin Dash Cam 55 features and options
To be added that this camera has a 2-inch LCD screen and the body is made entirely from quality black plastic. We must say that this new device measures 2.2 x 1.6 x 0.8 inches and the body is very compact.

Customers will find four buttons situated on the right side, which offers a nice and modern feeling.

Moreover, customers will have to stick the 3M adhesive magnets to their windshield in purpose to mount and connect the camera.

However, we must say that the attachment goes pretty fast and the removal as well. Setting the camera is also very easy. Once the setup was made, the display screen will go dark after 30 seconds in purpose to not distract the drivers.

Moreover, the new Garmin Dash Cam 55 will begin recording in the driving mode once drivers will plug the device in.

The recording will stop when it loses powers or when the vehicle will be turned off. One of the biggest attractions on this camera is the Travelapse setting. This feature is pretty handy at long drive sessions.

Drivers will just have to say “Hey, Garmin. Start Travelapse,” in purpose to have a great shareable video created of the trip they are having.
