Phiaton has released the new BT 100 NC

The first model that managed to combine wireless earphones with the quality noise-canceling feature was the QuietControl 30, released by Bose. After that, many manufacturers have started to release models like that. These days, a new wireless earphone model was unveiled on the market.

We are talking about the new Phiaton BT 100 NC. This new wireless earphone combines noise canceling and water resistant features. Of course, it is nothing new here to see, but this model has something that people will definitely be attracted to. We are talking about the price. The new Phiaton BT 100 NC is available at the price of 99 US dollars. This is approximately third of the Bose’s QC 30 model.

Of course, at the 99 dollars price, customers could also be a little bit skeptical. But, we must say that the audio experience is great and offers a solid bass. However, we can’t say that the new Phiaton BT 100 NC excels at something in particular, and the noise cancellation is not so great, being below average.

Moving to the design, customers should know that the new Phiaton BT 100 NC comes in three colors. We are talking about white, blue, and gray models. Moreover, this new neckband-style earphone comes with a peculiar look, which is something interesting.

Another great thing is that the eartips have the option to retract into the ends of the neckband, which is really great.

The company also claims that this new model is an IPX4 rating. This means that the new Phiaton BT 100 NC is resistant to splashes.

Another great thing about this model is that it can be used in wired mode. This is a really good feature, and probably a rarity for Bluetooth in-ears. This means that customers will be able to use the new Phiaton BT 100 NC in wired mode when they are starting to run out of battery.

On the top left panel, customers will find a button for answering/ending calls. Moreover, this button can also be used for power/pairing model.

On the interior of the band, customers will find an on/off switch for the noise-cancellation feature. Moreover, there is a volume rocker switch. To be added that the volume rocker can also double for navigating tracks and fast forward/rewind.

On the outside of the panel, users will see a built-in microphone, and a covered port for the USB charging cable. On the right side, the neckband-earphone style homes a play/pause button.

Customers should know that this model has the ability to vibrate for alerts, which is a plus. The inline mic is relatively good, offering decent intelligibility. In the end, we must say that the company claims that the battery life can go up to 7-11 hours of usage. However, this result will vary depending on the volume levels.
