It seems that retro gaming is popular again. Collecting retro games seems to become a big trend among gamers. Customers will be able to buy this new device at the price of 39 US dollars. The great thing about this device is that customers will be able to play Nintendo Entertainment System cartridges. Moreover, the company output these games over HDMI at 720p. This means that customers will be able to play retro games at a higher resolution.

Moving to the design, we must say that the new Retro-Bit RES Plus doesn’t come fancy at all. At the price of 39 dollars we shouldn’t have any high expectations. But, customers should know that this device was designed to evoke those retro games that we were playing in the childhood.

The new Retro-Bit RES Plus comes in a tiny black-and- red plastic box. Its body measures 1.6 x 5.3 x 5.2 inches and weighs just under half a pound. Customers will probably notice that its design is similar with the one found on the original Sega Genesis. This means that the new Retro-Bit RES Plus homes a top-loading slot for cartridges.

Moreover, on the front of the device, customers will find the control ports. To be added that the cartridge slot was designed to support NES cartridges. The Reset button, power switch, and a red power LED are situated blow the cartridge slot. Another great thing about retro games enthusiasts is that they will be able to use original NES controllers. But, they will also have the option to switch to USB gamepads.

On the back of the device, customers will find a composite video output, an HDMI port, and a micro USB connector. Inside the box, the company added a USB cable and a wall adapter. In the end, we must say that the new Retro-Bit RES Plus comes with two NES-compatible gamepads. These controllers have a rectangle shape, and were designed to emulate the original NES controllers.
