Top 5 Mobile Phone Games That You Must Play in 2019

It's a new year and we decided to make a Top 5 best mobile phone games that you must play in 2019, just in case you get bored on your way to work or school, and instead browsing Facebook maybe you want to play something. To note that we excluded from our top PUBG and Fortnite for obvious reasons. So let's start shall we?

Monument Valley 2

Monument Valley 2

Monument Valley 2 is a puzzle game created by Ustwo Games. This is a follow-up of the first Monument Valley game, launched in 2014. This fantasy world is based on a isometric world made by stairs by M.C.Escher, doors and elevators, placed in such a way that the 2D graphics offers a 3D perspective.

Using the touch screen, you will control the character named Ro on different paths through this maze up to the next puzzle. Although this game seems simple enough, the puzzles are quite difficult forcing players to think from a different perspective. The solutions will be discovered via trial and error most of a time, but not to worry you can try as many times as you want as there is no fixed numbers of lives.

In Monument Valley 2 Ro is accompanied this time by his daughter, so in this game you control two characters unlike the first game where you controlled only Ro. By controlling two characters game developers managed to increase game difficulty because on some levels you will need both characters to work together such that the puzzle can be solved. Monument Valley 2 has a longer story than the first one, having 14 chapters instead of 10. This puzzle game is definitely worth your time and it will keep you occupied for a longer period of time than you might think.

Brawl Stars

Brawl Stars

Brawl Stars is a game that appeared more than a year ago, but it just became available for everybody around the world on 12 December 2018, reaching a number of player just as Clash of Clans or  Clash Royale, all games being made by the same game studio, Supercell. This game is different than the other two though. Here we have warriors like robots, ninja, humans, plants and a character that is really just a cactus. There are 22 characters in total, each character having different abilities, it's pros and of course it's cons.

To unlock a new brawler you need to open boxes called Brawl Boxes or Big Boxes. The boxes can be obtained by either through gameplay or by buying with real cash from the shop. Brawl star is somewhere between a MOBA with some sort of Battle Royale flavor and a Shooter, having a little bit of something from both genders.

It can be complex game in the beginning, but you will get used with the mechanics of the game really quick. There are a few mods available for Brawl Stars, like Gem Grab, where you can create a team to gather at least 10 rocks and not to die until time is up.

There are other game modes as well which are 3v3 like death-match Bounty or Heist. The modes change every 24 hour, while a special mode changes every 7 days.

If you think of playing this game, you might consider playing it on a larger screen, maybe tablet like screen, because you can see your enemies better.

Although Brawl Stars is free to play, if you want to speed-up things it is necessary to invest real money in it, but if you are just playing it casually you can leave the cool-downs do their thing without worrying that if you don't invest in the game you lose your chance to win matches.

Asphalt 9 Legends

Asphalt 9 Legends

Asphalt 9 Legends is a famous Racer and a great alternative for NFS No Limits. This game does not have a story-line, but it has a career mode, but the best part of this game is the multiplayer.

Asphalt 9 Legends is pure racing, either in single player or multiplayer, and the goal of the game is to upgrade your cars and unlock new ones by collecting "blueprints". How can you collect blueprints you ask? By racing of course.

There are many types of racing in this game, and from personal experience, you will never get bored of this game. There are several locations around the world where you can race, like Cairo where you get to see the pyramids or Himalaya where you get to push the car really hard through snow. There are other locations from America or Asia, and they change for each race, having a mix of visual locations and circuits which throws boredom away.

The first time when I played it, the controls seems a little bit off, but with a new option called Touch Drive the controls transforms into a decision control on which you must swipe just like in Temple Run. On the screen there will be 3 options, and with swipe right or left you steer the car in the right direction.

Asphalt 9 is a free to play game, but it has allot of things that must be purchased with real money, but there are usable pieces that you can buy with game money, but by this you cannot progress really fast within the game, but for a quick 10-15 minutes of fun the free way is enough.

Rayman Adventures

Rayman Adventures

Rayman is a franchise that deserves our full attention, because unlike other games, this one will keep you glued to your phone for hours. Rayman Adventures is a runner game but also a platform game in the same time, Ubisoft making an awesome job in combining these two genders.

Unlike other Rayman titles, this one is free to play but of course like all other games it also has in app purchase. The game offers 50 characters and one of them is Rayman of course. Adventures is a good-enough story, having more than 200 levels, each of them looking awesome. The visuals effects, the easy control of the characters and the game fluidity are just a few of the strong points of the game.

The game works well on almost any phone, having 2D graphics and it does not require allot of resources for a fluid and enjoyable experience. In Adventures we have the possibility to create a team, gathering members by playing the levels. The team once completed is called Incrediballs, and each team member has it's own advantage.

Each level takes just a couple of minutes to complete, so you can progress through the game at a fast pace. The controls are swipe based, the character runs on its own through level. There are allot of things you can do in the game, from puzzles to fighting enemies so it is really worth a try.

Injustice 2

Injustice 2

Last but not least on our list is Injustice 2. This hero fighting game is the follow-up of Gods Among Us which was launched way back in 2013. The game is for DC universe fans and you will find all the heroes and bad-guys from DC.

Graphic wise, Injustice 2 looks very well, even if the game is not as recent. During fighting the characters look really good, as well as their moves. The animations are really fluid, and the game does not consume allot of resources, having a just 1GB of ram  minimum requirement for it to run properly.

Besides the graphics, we have an awesome sound-track as well as very well recorded ambient sounds which makes the game even better. Injustice 2 offers more modes, like single-player, PvP arena and many different side-quests.

In story mode you will experience the awesome story behind Injustice 2, and to progress you will need to win the preset fights. The controls are very intuitive and well thought for a touch screen. To make an attack you just have to touch the screen, and in the right side you will have quick access for more complex attacks. The game is a perfect substitute for Mortal Kombat, and you will actually feel like playing Mortal Kombat but with Superman and Batman instead of Raiden or Scorpion. This game is available as well on PC and consoles.
